SUPAH BOWL pre-game show

OH MY GOSH! IT IS HERE! No, not the Loch Ness Monster, the Super Bowl. I know, I know, dissapointing. But whatever because two teams, The Pittsburgh Steelers and The Arizona Cardinals, are facing off in the 2008-2009 Super Bowl. Oh ya. You knowz it. If the Steelers come out on top, they become the first team to win 6 Super Bowls. But, if the Arizona Cardinals (who were predicted not to be in the playoffs) end up with the trophy, they will have a franchise 1st Super Bowl victory. Personally, I would like to see the Arizona Cardinals win because one of my homeboys' , Jeffrey Spach, uncle , Stephen Spach, is a TE (who was injured in the playoffs) who plays for the Cards'. And an even cooler thing about that is that if they win, Stephen Spach gets one of those Big-A pretty pretty shiny shiny SUPER BOWL RINGS. And if that happens I made Jeffrey promise to get pictures of it on his phone and send it to me. =D!!! Another cool fact is that the Arizona Cardinals head coach was part of the coaching staff of the Pittsburgh Steelers when they won the 2006 Super Bowl. This promises to be an exciting game. Very, very exciting.
And when the Super Bowl is over and I actually think about my blog, I will blog a post-game show that should be filled with randomness and awesomeness. Thats all for now.

Finally (AFC NFC championships)

Okay I admit, I have been slacking in my blogging. It's true. Oh well. Pretty much the only reason I started this entry is because of a certain email from a certain sistah with a certain two dogs who are literature critics through a certain blog. Anyways..... today I'm here to blog about the AFC and NFC championship games (and their results) and who goes the DA SUPAH BOWL. (which is on February 1, 2009) Anyways, the NFC championship game where the Philadelphia Eagles played for the NFC championship title and a spot in the Super Bowl against the Arizona Cardinals. Personally I didn't care who won this game because I like both teams. But the veteran Arizona quarterback Kurt Warner came up big with great passes to many receivers including Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin (who was injured during the post-season game against the Atlanta Falcons. Anyways, it turned out with the Philadelphia Eagles led by Donavan McNabb (who actually was benched during one of the regular season games, he has played waaay better ever since) were the losers of this game. One of the main reasons the Eagles weren't victorious is because their kicker (David Akers) was not the best at the time, he had 1 missed field goal from 47 yards, one missed extra point, and one kickoff kicked out of bounds. (which results in the other team getting the ball at the 40 yard line) Anyways, the Arizona Cardinals are going the the Super Bowl. In the AFC championship game, where the Pittsburg Steelers beat the Baltimore Ravens. Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger A.K.A "Big Ben" for his size, had a big night against the Ravens even though one of their good receivers Heines Ward was injured. The Pittsburg Steelers got an early 13-0 lead and held on to win and go on to the Super Bowl to play the Arizona Cardinals and ruining rookie quaterback Joe Flacco's hope to be the first rookie quaterback to lead his team through the playoffs into the Super Bowl. USU vs Hawaii

This game started ,for me, with my mom telling me to stay and watch the game while its still close, 0-0. What a totally not true sentence, with USU taking the 3-0 lead. Soon I left with my friends to go play some tackle football. We played, had fun, and were suprised with multiple Aggie scores. Four different times the Warriors were near the endzone but only twice actually scored. The Aggie offense did pretty well, but their defence was outstanding against the big bad Hawaiin offensive line. . They definately didn't want what happened to them against the Fresno State guys, with that 58-yarder.The game ended with the Aggies leading 30-14 over the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors

Saints VS Chargers In London,England

Today I watched the New Orleans Saints play football against the San Diego Chargers. Very good game. Sadly, the New Orleans totally awesome and also excllent RB, Reggie Bush, was injured in a previous game and couldn't play today. It's okay though becuase their backup did just fine for him. Drew Brees ,#9 QB for the Saints, played his usual self in the first half with over 200 (i think) passing yards. That is exactly why that team is #1 in the NFL in passing yards. That is also not suprising because the San Diego Chargers are last in pass defence in the NFL.
Then the Saints scored a touchdown but missed the extra point field goal making it 9-3. Then we stopped watching the game. When we came back the score was 30-17 Saints in the lead. But then the Chargers came thundering down the field to score a field goal by Kaeding.30-20 Saints still ahead. This might have been in the wrong order but whatever. Saints scored a touchdown then making it 37-20. Then the Chargers scored either a field goal or a touchdown, after an excellent onside kick recovered by the Chargers they came and either scored a touchdown or a field goal depending on what happened before the onside kick. 37-30 Saints ahead but the Chargers got the ball back and moved down the field but then Chargers QB P. Rivers throws a pass which is deflected into the air by the Saints once, twice, then a third Saint comes up and intercepts the ball!!!!!!!! Saints have it, run three times can't grab the first down, so with 14 seconds left in the game the Saints line up to go for it. (stupid...real stupid was what I thought until the play started) Drew Brees runs backwards making the defence brace for a pass, but NO #9 runs towards his own endzone and throws the ball towards it making it a safety(which gives the Chargers 2 points and makes the Saints kickoff to the Chargers) the throw was really funny because it hits a cameraman in the FACE! (my dad rewinded it and we saw it) so that wasted 6 seconds giving the Chargers 8 seconds to come and score a touchdown to win the game, Saints kick off then tackle the Chargers man with 0 seconds left....NOPE says the ref and gives them 1 second for a throw, Saints come with 3 men rushing and the rest covering the receivers, all huddling in a huge bunch in the endzone Rivers throws it long and is deflected by the Saints....game over.....Saints won!!!!! WOOP WOOP GO SAINTS!!!
